This is a search tool that can be integrated into Outlook.
It’s a search tool that gets seamlessly integrated in your Outlook. It is able to thoroughly search all the data in your outlook and find things for you easily. Any email system that has been used for some time, can grow very large. The tool can search in e-mails, attachments, appointments, tasks, notes and Contacts. It will even search within attachments. External PST files/archives also could be searched. It supports MS Exchange server. Data pools as large as 100 GB could be searched by the tool. Centralized indexing is a feature that should be useful for multi-user set up such as in an enterprise, by reducing server and network traffic. The “shared index” feature of Lookeen means public data needs to be indexed just once. The tool works as an integrated desktop search tool too.
On the integrated desktop you get the search box with relevant controls. The desktop search tool finds files in both local and network environments. External drives and remote file servers are indexed by Lookeen. The tool will work with Terminal Server and Citrix environments. Via Group Policies, “GPO” administrators can adapt Lookeen to the system in use. According to a recent American survey an estimated fifth of total working hours is used by assistants in finding emails. Mail already sorted help find context relevant messages very quickly. The search too can organize mails making finding it later quick. Now that discovery of emails is a regulatory requirement, a handy search tool will always be useful.
